Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) have launched their first driving school in Faridabad, keeping true to their safety mission of ‘Safe Car with Safest Driver’.

Managed by one of the Toyota dealerships in the National Capital Region (NCR), TKM will ensure tremendous importance on making every student a responsible and disciplined driver. In line with the company’s safety mission, TKM have five other driving schools across India in the cities of Kochi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.


The curriculum employs a comprehensive driver-training program that boasts it’s practical and futuristic training models. Toyota claims that the driving school is the first to use a car simulator in India with high definition computer graphics in an immersive curved projection environment. Toyota have combined features like IP, steering and seats of an actual Etios car to make the experience as realistic as possible.


The topics covered in the curriculum involve:

  • Traffic management, rules and discipline
  • Safe and correct driving concepts
  • Responsibilities and manners of a driver
  • Simulation of driving a real vehicle before getting onto the road
  • All aspects of practical driving
  • Driving in diverse roads and climatic conditions
  • Knowing your car – Basic maintenance and repairs
  • Handling your car in emergency situations
  • Systematic evaluations and feedback

Among the dignitaries at the inauguration of the Toyota Driving School were Dr. Hanif Qureshi, IPS – Commissioner of Police, Faridabad; Chander Shekar Nagar, Dealer Principal, Thirty Six Toyota, Faridabad; N Raja, Director and Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
