Home / News / Rolls-Royce Wraith to debut at Geneva

Rolls-Royce-Wraith-teaser_1“EXPECT THE BOLDEST DESIGN, the most dramatic performance and the most powerful Rolls-Royce that has ever played host to the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine.”

All we have are these three teaser images of the new Rolls-Royce Wraith, but the company’s CEO, Torsten Muller-Otvos, has given a clear indication of what to expect when the car is launched on March 5 at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.

The name ‘Wraith’ was first used by Rolls-Royce in 1948 for their four-door limousine, but its present-day reincarnation is going to be a two-door coupé and we expect it to be based on the Ghost sedan. It may be powered by the Ghost’s 6.6-litre V12 engine as well, but it will be in a higher state of tune, with a power output of about 600 PS. Log on to the Car India website on March 5 for more information and pictures of the car and read the April issue
of the magazine for a full coverage of the aforesaid motor show in Switzerland.
