AM4_2013PEUGEOT1The French company may enter India soon with General Motors

General Motors and PSA Peugeot Citroën alliance is under way and, if things work out well, we will soon see Peugeot cars on Indian roads. Last year GM and Peugeot signed an alliance under which the two companies would be working together to develop new products and also to explore new markets in Latin America and Asia. GM already have a strong infrastructure set-up in India and with both the partners exploring opportunities in growing markets, India seems to be the perfect place for Peugeot to begin their expansion in Asia. The alliance will also allow Peugeot to tap the huge resource base of GM in India, which will make it easier for the French company to establish itself in the country.

We expect Peugeot to start their Indian journey with small cars powered by their latest EB enine range. There is no officiai announcement from either of the companies as yet, but it won’t be long before they make one.
