The stage was set at last month’s Geneva Motor Show for the unveiling of the latest addition to the supercar kingdom in the form of the McLaren P1.

Now as far as supercars are concerned there is certainly one livery which almost every one of them has spotted over the years – the traditional Gulf livery. The Mclaren P1 is one such supercar which will most likely enter the motorsports arena in the near future, thus car blog BoldRide teamed up with design company Hansen Art to virtually develop a race-bred McLaren P1 GTR concept.

Souped up with a retro gulf livery the renderings showcase what a certain Le Mans P1 edition might look like, the creators have virtually created this masterpiece with state of the art software and boy it sure is a stunner. Apart from the Gulf livery the P1 GTR sports Davidoff Black decals, a fire-breathing exhaust, a generously-sized diffuser and an edgy carbon-fibre race wing. Since the British supercar manufacturer is only building around 350 units of the car, this GTR Gulf concept will be an extremely precious creation if becomes a reality and would certainly boost the McLaren P1’s image globally.
