McLaren_LargeAs the 2013 season of world’s premium racing series Formula One gets closer, many teams are gearing up to unveil the car for the upcoming season.

Amid much anticipation, McLaren happened to be the second team to unveil their F1 car and publicly launched their Mercedes-powered MP4-28 recently. Team drivers Jenson Button and Sergio Perez (who replaces British driver Louis Hamilton from the upcoming season) were present at the do. Talking about the car, the drivers said that it may look exactly like last year’s car on the surface, but it’s a completely new car under the skin.

The next team to follow the league and unveil their car for 2013 season was Mercedes. Making a comeback to the factory team after a long gap of six years, Louis Hamilton pulled the covers off the car. Team-mates with Peter Rosberg, Hamilton said that the 2013 car will be able to carry his hopes in the championship in this season.
