LAND ROVER ARE APPARENTLY working on an SUV that would become the least expensive model on offer by the British company. Having witnessed the growth in the compact SUV segment, Land Rover have decided to enter this segment with a new and smaller model.

This new SUV is said to be based on the dC100 concept that received an overwhelming response from the critics and audience alike the world over. It is speculated that the new SUV will either be based on the evoque platform or the new-generation defender platform. the new SUV will be slotted below the defender, thus making it the most affordable Land Rover model in the current line-up.

This SUV is one of the 40 new  models that the company plans to  launch over the next five years.
