FIAT launch new 500 Turbo in US market
MOVING AHEAD FROM JUST CUTElooks and a step even further from the mean Abarth, FIAT have launched an even more performance-oriented 500 for the American market, the FIAT 500 Turbo.
Running on the same platform and 1.4-litre turbocharged engine as the FIAT 500 Abarth, the Turbo comes with a fi ve-speed transmission and the promise of a better steering calibration, sports suspension and upgraded brakes. Its smoky headlamps differentiate it from other, less savage 500s and otherwise looks the same as other 500 models. Also, it bears the FIAT emblem and not the Abarth scorpion on the front grille. The 500 Turbo has been priced at a little over Rs 10 lakh for the American market.
