dupont IndIa InauGurated theIr Innovation centre in pune in an effort to expand their strategic footprint as well as to support India’s fast growing automotive industry.
The centre will act as a collaborative platform for automotive oem, component and system manufacturers to work together. The company manufactures car interiors that lower energy consumption. they offer ready fuel system solutions for the range of fuels under development, depending upon which fuel alternatives are chosen.
Their ecoconcept system streamlines the oem painting process by eliminating one complete coating layer, the primer surfacer, and combining it into a single environmentally compliant water-based base coat. this allows automobile manufacturers to eliminate an entire spray booth and its entire drying equipment. Volkswagen aG is one of the companies that uses this technology at its plants in mexico and Spain.
