The Altroz DCA will be available in the top three varieties – XT, XZ, and XZ+ – and will be available in a whole new colour — the new Opera Blue.
The Tata Motors Altroz DCA has been unveiled in India, with prices starting at Rs 8.10 lakh. The cheapest XMA+ variant costs Rs 8.10 lakh, while the most expensive XZA+ Dark Edition variant costs Rs 9.90 lakh (all prices introductory and ex-showroom, Delhi). The new edition, according to Tata, features innovative Dual-Clutch Technology that is tailored to the Indian market. It is equipped with a wet clutch transmission that ensures optimal performance in all Indian driving situations. Those interested may immediately reserve an Altroz automatic for Rs 21,000 at any authorised Tata Motors dealership, with deliveries beginning after today’s inauguration.
The Altroz DCA will have the same features as its manual-transmission sister in terms of functionality. This means the instrument cluster will have a floating seven-inch touchscreen and another seven-inch screen with an analogue dial. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the ConnectNext app suite are all supported by the infotainment system. There’s also a 15-litre chilled glove box.

The Altroz DCA is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, normally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 86 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of peak torque @ 3,300 rpm, is available with a new six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The DCA model, on the other hand, is over 20 kg heavier than its manual counterpart. With active cooling technology, machine learning, and shift-by-wire technology, Tata claims the new DCA gearbox is optimised specifically for Indian roads and climatic conditions.
