“The future of mobility”, dubbed by the Mahindra group as they revealed the name of their next generation electric vehicle, the e 20 at an event in Mumbai.
Mr. Anand Mahindra, group chairman also manifested Mahindra’s new vision at the event, emphasizing on a 5 C’s framework of-Clean, Convenient, Connected, Clever and Cost Effective. This next generation Reva known as the e 20 has been undergoing extensive testing and is stated to be launched soon in the Indian market. This latest Mahindra ‘Electric offering’ is all set to be produced at Mahindra Reva’s recently inaugurated plant in Bengaluru.
Commenting on the Mahindra e 2o at the press event, Dr Pawan Goenka, President, Automotive and Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd said, “The Mahindra e 2o is a game changing development within the personal mobility space that will help the Mahindra Group usher in a positive change in the lives of our customers.
The overall emphasis of the event was focused on sustainable living and the future of the automobile industry. No dates have yet been revealed regarding the launch of the e 20 yet.
