Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch users running iOS 6 or later are already familiar with Apple’s helpful Siri services.
Apple’s virtual assistant Siri made popular by the comic TV series ‘The Big Bang Theory’ can answer almost all your questions. This app is now being developed as a feature called Eyes Free that takes the Siri service to the next level. With Eyes Free, you can make use of your vehicle’s voice control system to have Siri make calls, play selected music, read or compose texts, dictate directions and even remind you of upcoming appointments. As an added feature, Siri Eyes Free keeps your device’s screen blank while you’re behind the wheel. Sources say that the Honda Accord will be the first to incorporate this system and will be available as a dealer-installed option.
