McLaren__P1_OpenerMcLaren has recently revealed that their spanking new P1 supercar will start with its deliveries in the second half of 2013.

The famed McLaren P1 was officially presented to the masses for the first time during the Paris Motor Show this year as a prototype. A few months later this supercar is back with the British based automaker announcing that the deliveries of the supercar will start in the second half of 2013. The McLaren P1 known as the official successor of the iconic F1 will be positioned above the MP4-12C and the 12C Spyder in terms of both performance and price. The P1 will get the same 3.8 litre turbo engine as its brothers (mentioned above), which produces an extra 121PS. The McLaren P1 is up against the Bugatti Veyron in terms of tackling top speed. The final production version of the P1 will be unveiled in Geneva next year and company sources reveal that only 500 units of the McLaren P1 are expected to be produced and at a rate of no higher than one car per day to maintain its exclusivity.
