Taking a break from diesel power-houses, Audi India has given petrol-heads a new reason to rejoice by launching the dynamic S4 saloon in the country.
The Audi S4 is powered by a potent V6 3.0 TFSI engine that produces a whooping 337.6 PS of power and 440 Nm of torque. According to the figures released by the company, the S4 – essentially an A4 in supercharged trim – can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds and has an electronically limited maximum speed of 250 km/h.
The luxury car maker had held an online initiative to promote and hype the launch of the S4 on micro-blogging website Twitter.com called ‘Vote for S4 to bring it to India’, where car enthusiasts and Audi fans were invited to ‘tweet’ to the German manufacturer (@AudiIN) and vote for the powerful saloon to be introduced in India.
Guess, their votes did work as the company has introduced the S4 from Rs 45. 31lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) and is now available at 19 Audi dealerships across the country.
