German car manufacturer Volkswagen launch an Express Service facility at their Coimbatore dealership, a first of its kind in the country.
Volkswagen’s Coimbatore dealership is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, 44 work bays, and 75 parking bays, all of which will enable the dealership to service around 2,500 cars a month. The Express Service is specific to periodic servicing and maintenance of cars. The main aim is to increase the productivity and efficiency of technicians and also reduce the time for vehicles to get serviced.
Commenting on the occasion, Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said, “Volkswagen’s Express service program has been developed keeping in mind that sustainable success for the company is only possible with excellent service and a high degree of customer satisfaction; and here at Volkswagen, we want to lead the industry in this area. With the introduction of this programme, we will provide a hassle-free service experience at our dealerships by ensuring quality service in a short span of time. In the next 12 months, the Express service facility will be launched across key Volkswagen dealerships in India in a phased manner starting from Coimbatore and followed by Gurgaon and Chennai.”
