The new Nissan Terrano special edition is priced at Rs 12.22 lakh and comes with minor tweaks to the exterior design, an updated cabin and offers more features than before. It’s easy to distinguish the new variant thanks to the new body decals and contrasting stripes on the bonnet, fenders, rear bumper, and on the doors. The roof and pillars are all-black and it also gets more prominent wheel-arch claddings. The seat upholstery now has contrasting red stitches which matches the red highlights on the floor mats.
The Terrano Sport Edition is currently available with the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel that produces 85 PS and 200 Nm of torque, but unlike the existing XE dCi 85 variant, has more kit on offer.
The Terrano Sport special edition is equipped with the NissanConnect infotainment system with smartphone compatibility. The system comes with over 50 features such as geofencing, speed alert, curfew alert, nearby pit stops, Locate My Car and Share My Car Location to name a few. Moreover it comes with three years of free services for added convenience. The special edition continues to feature a 7.0-inch touchscreen navigation system, steering mounted controls, dual airbags, ABS and EBD with BA (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution with Braking Assistance).
