Apollo have launched the new Apterra HT2 for the burgeoning SUV segment. The Apterra HT2 is available in six different sizes. The new Apterra HT2 aims at restructuring the range of Apollo’s Apterra tyres. Apollo have a target of having tyres available for almost all SUVs in the Indian market. These tyres are currently available with T, H and V speed ratings.
Apollo claim that Apterra HT2 will have a good life span and will also provide good comfort in its class. Apollo have come up with stiffer ribs which will improve braking in both dry and wet conditions. These tyres are designed to provide safety at high speeds, and the wear-resistant tread compound helps in achieving good mileage. The Apterra HT2 is targeted at various SUVs such as the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Hyundai Santa Fe, Volvo XC60, Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Safari, Mahindra TUV 300, Mahindra Bolero, and the Toyota Prado. MUVs like the Tata Hexa also stand to benefit from these new tyres.
