Nissan officially launch Evalia in India

Nissan Motor India Private Ltd (NMIPL) officially announced the commercial launch of their first 7 seater Multi Utility Vehicle for the India market, the Nissan Evalia.

The Japanese automotive heavyweights have had quite a steady approach in the Indian market and have played a smart game by pricing the Evalia aggressively, starting from Rs 8.49 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

The Nissan Evalia is powered by a 1.5 L, 4 cylinder engine with intercooler and comes equipped with a 5 speed gearbox and ABS+EBD (electronic brake-force distribution). Considering that the Evalia is a 7-seater, Nissan promises to surprise everyone with its fuel economy. That alone should make the Evalia a surefire hit in this era of spiraling gas prices.
