British automobile brand McLaren took the world by storm when they unveiled the P1 hypercar last year.
Just months after the P1 made its production model debut in March at the Geneva Motor show, the car manufacturer has already begun work on a revised and more powerful version of the P1 hypercar.
Spy pictures have been making the rounds on the internet showcasing McLaren divers testing the P1 prototype at the Nurburgring race track. The P1 XP2R prototype has been rumored to churn out even more power than the current P1 and the crew at McLaren are looking to up the ante on the likes of the LaFerrari and the upcoming Porsche 918 hybrid.
