Land Rover India is celebrating its 65th anniversary by launching the Land Rover Experience events, which kicked off with an event near Mumbai with more than 100 guests driving Land Rover vehicles over varied terrain including rocks, ruts, steep inclines, mud, and water.
Speaking at the event, Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover India, said that these events were meant to allow Land Rover’s current and prospective customers to experience wide capabilities of their vehicles. The trail was chosen for the variety of trains it offers, thus giving an authentic off-road experience in stock vehicles. Guests attending this event were said to be immensely impressed with the capabilities of the vehicles.
Aditya Patel, a Mumbai-based Land Rover enthusiast, said about his experience at the event that he found it to be a memorable one that was slightly daunting as he was not aware that a Land Rover vehicle could make it through such tough terrain with no trouble at all. Abhishek Mantri, another participant, expressed his enjoyment at participating in the one of a kind experience through a varied track, with the Freelander making it through effortlessly.
The Land Rover Experience will now be extended to many other cities across India.
