Suzuki are known to do everything on a metamorphic scale when it comes to their backyard i.e. the Shanghai Motor Show.
At the ongoing event, all eyes were fixed on the next big concept from the Suzuki stable. One of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers have taken the wraps of their new concept sedan, aptly named Authentics. Head honchos of Suzuki present at the launch event have clearly pointed out on the fact that this sedan is set to rival the likes of Volkswagen and Ford in the Asian market, particularly China.
On first looks, the Authentics sedan concept infuses design clues from European luxury sedans, sporty yet elegant shape, curvacious lines, long-wheel base and luxurious stance all combined to make this concept a hit with the target-market of businessmen and high-flyers. Although Suzuki haven’t revealed any technical specs regarding the concept, officials have stated that it will undergo production in 2014. We do hope that Maruti-Suzuki India get it to the sub-continent. After a not-so successful offering in the form of the Kizashi, this sedan concept might just be the perfect answer to the likes of the Mercedes, Audi and BMW executive saloons in India.
