Three-time Formula 1 world champion, Sebastian Vettel has just deepened his ties with Infiniti, signing on as their Director of Performance.
In this new role, he will be further involved in the development of new models for their road car range. In a relationship since 2011, Vettel has played a major role in Infiniti’s dynamic performance development resulting in an FX50 Vettel Edition of the crossover and more recently, the all-new Q50.
Infiniti, the luxury division of the Renault-Nissan alliance, have extended their partnership with the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team, even becoming their title sponsor for the 2013 season. It looks like Infiniti is on the way up and is seeking to enter new markets following the growing awareness of their brand globally.
