Fiat2FIAT Group Automobiles India Private Limited (FGAIPL) recently inaugurated its first state-of-the-art training Centre at Ranjangaon, Pune.

In order to replicate FIAT Group’s international standards in technical and soft skills training, U-NETVERSITY, FIAT Group’s global training school will conduct and oversee the entire training program that would involve about 50 personnel in a single day The entire facility will comprise of 3 Classrooms having complete AV support and experts from FIAT, Italy and Chrysler, USA as training instructors for the employees at Ranjangaon. FIAT Group’s complete range of vehicles will be made available to technicians for systems and support parts study. This would enable the technicians and employees at the plant to experience firsthand, the design and development of FIAT’s global brand of cars. The on-going training program would include a comprehensive suite of web-based and remote access learning tools and working on the latest diagnostic tools for enhanced understanding of FIAT’s global systems and processes.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Enrico Atanasio, MD of FIAT Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd said, “FIAT Automobiles set a global benchmark in areas of engineering and design in every geographical territory where it has its presence. India is a very crucial market for FIAT Group and we will replicate the Group’s international standards with this initiative. With this programme we hope to develop highly skilled and trained manpower that will cater to the automobile industry and serve our customers better by ensuring end to end process standardization and execution.”

The entire training program is designed so as to support the complete set of FIAT Group and Chrysler systems including the prominent ones such as LINK-e- Entry for warranty parts supply. Special sessions from FIAT Power Train experts will be conducted to provide knowledge and expertise and replicate best practises in Power Train manufacturing processes.
