Japanese automotive giants Honda are well known for showcasing their concept masterpieces at Geneva.
The marque is set to unveil two new concepts for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, the Civic Wagon and the NSX concept. Honda have also revealed a teaser sketch of the Civic Wagon concept, sporting a stylish tailpipe in the middle, a sculpted rear hatch and large diameter wheels – something non-Honda like. Over the years the wagon segment is growing in popularity, specially in the European market, with players like Volkswagen, Ford, Kia and Hyundai all vying for top spot. Honda will also be showcasing their highly anticipated NSX concept, Honda’s flagship performance offering for 2013.
At a press conference Honda officials stated to the media that these concept are there to provide styling cues for future production models which will debut over the coming years. Honda are also betting it big on the Geneva Motor Show for their diesel offerings, with the likes of the Honda CR-V compact crossover SUV. The new CR-V compact crossover will showcase the company’s new 1.6-liter i-DTEC turbodiesel engine.
