Jaypee Sports International (JPSI) has announced the detailed schedule for the 2012 Indian GP to be held at the Buddh International Circuit from October 26-28.
On day 1 (Friday, October 26), the JK Racing Asia series will take to the 5.14km circuit in the early hours of the day for the first on-track session, to be followed by the first 90-minute F1 practice session at 10am. At 12:30pm, spectators will get to watch the new MRF F2000 cars in action in the MRF Challenge 2012, with many Indian and international drivers behind the wheel. This will be followed by the second practice session from 2-3:30pm. Day 2 (Saturday, October 27) will see the third practice session from 11am-12noon, followed by the F1 qualifying session at 2pm.
Race day (Sunday, October 28) will have the race starting at 3pm, which is one hour later as compared to the inaugural edition.
