Mahindra Adventure have announced their sixth season of adventure with the 2016 calendar.
The new calendar for this year introduces multi-day expeditions including a Kashmir-to-Kanyakumari drive across the length of India, and Authentic Bhutan, taking you on a drive through the Land of the Thunder Dragon. The popular Great Escapes and challenges all make the list as well.
Showcasing the toughness and capabilities of their vehicle range is not easy to accomplish in the confines of a city or two, one must take the drive to where the challenges lie. The Great Escape continues with 10 locations across India, where the winners of each round compete for the coveted Mahindra Off-Roading Trophy.
The new multi-day Escapes are a 15-day drive from Kashmir to Kanyakumari going from Srinagar to Kanyakumari via Dharamshala, Kumbhalgarh, Little Rann, Goa and Munnar. The second is Authentic Bhutan: an 8-day drive. Other drives include:
- 10-day Authentic North East, through Guwahati-Dirang-Tawang-Kaziranga-Shillong
- 7-day Spiti Escape, from Chandigarh-Narkanda-Sangla-Nako-Kaza-Manali
- 10-day Monastery Escape, going through Delhi-Manali-Jispa-Sarchu-Leh-Srinagar
- 6-day Royal Escape, exploring Rajasthan from Bikaner-Jaisalmer-Jodhpur-Pushkar-Delhi
- 4-day Wild Escape, driving through various wildlife sanctuaries like Pench-Kanha-Tadoba
There will also be the Mahindra Challenges including the Club Challenge, a 2-day championship for Off-Road Clubs across the country, and the Monsoon Challenge, a 3-day Time-Speed-Distance rally.
