To celebrate 75 years of the brand and 50 years of Easter Jeep Safari, the marque unveils seven new concepts

American’s know how to celebrate, and the biggest example this year are these seven new concepts from Jeep. Yes, seven new concepts have been unveiled by Jeep just ahead of the Easter Jeep Safari, an event held in eastern Utah. This is the fiftieth year of the Easter Jeep Safari and Jeep is celebrating its 75th year in existence and this was the perfect occasion for the legendary American marque to unveil these new concepts. Anyway, the most surprisingly of them all was is 717 PS Trailcat, a convertible Jeep for the most extreme off-road experience. It uses a massive 6.2-litre HEMI Hellcat V8 which is mated to a sweet six-speed manual gearbox for maximum involvement. A lot of modifications were done in order to make this one sleek cat.

Apart from the Trailcat, Jeep also unveiled the FC 150, a sixties concept that resembles a mini-truck and honestly it looks simply awesome. It is based on a 2005 Wrangler and rides on 17-inch wheels, with retro look. Paying a tribute to the rich military history of the brand, Jeep also unveiled the Crew Chief 715, which pays homage to the Kaiser M715. Totally speced out for deployment in an active battle field, the Crew Chief 175 is based on the Wrangler Unlimited and comes with metal bumpers at both ends, 20-inch wheels with military-spec tyres having 40-inch diameter.

Other concepts included a Renegade Commander, Comanche concept based on the Renegade but painted beige and featuring a soft-top. Completing the seven car unveil was the Trailstorm, which is based on the Wrangler Unlimited and features a concept fastback soft-top, desert camouflage paint and 17-inch off-road wheels with huge tyres. With Jeep already here, we hope to see some of these concepts become reality and, who knows, they might even make their way to India.
