Football and cars, the two just go hand in hand and when there is a car which is inspired or themed on a football club it is downright awesome. So what happens when two legends – Arsenal FC and Citroen come together for a collaborative project? Well, sparks are set to fly. The London-based club have collaborated with the French automaker to create 11 special edition Citroen C4 Cactus ‘Arsenal Edition’ crossovers. Just like the a full team only fields 11 players, so too will this car be built in that number, all coming to Britain.
The club’s colours have all been incorporated by the design team at Citroen, Arsenal FC’s colors of red, blue and gold have been creatively applied to the bod of the French crossover. The C4 Cactus has also been equipped with a new new system called ‘G.O.A.L.I.E.’, short for Geo Organized Away-day Location, Information & Entertainment. The Citroen C4 Cactus ‘Arsenal Edition’ also houses a stereo system which ironically only plays the club’s iconic football anthems.
Officials at Citroen have also revealed that all the 11 special edition units of this crossover will go on sale in various parts of London, including the Citroen dealer at arch-rivals Tottenham.
