Becomes the fastest-selling and the most successful Land Rover ever produced
In just five years of production, Range Rover’s premium compact SUV the Evoque has done remarkably well for itself. Recently, Land Rover announced that the Evoque has reached the 500,000 units mark in just half a decade which has made it the fast-selling LR till date. The Evoque started life as the LRX concept some seven years back and since then the journey has been quite a good one. Land Rover claims that one in every three vehicles they sell around the world is an Evoque. Last year the company also unveiled the gorgeous Evoque convertible, which received great reviews from critics.
To celebrate this massive achievement workers at the Halewood plant celebrated by posing in front of an Evoque. On this occasion Gerry McGovern, Chief Design Officer, Land Rover commented: “Evoque has been a huge success for Land Rover winning more than 165 international awards, bringing new customers to the brand and evolving to stay ahead of the competition. With our bold new Evoque Convertible we have broadened the range and will attract even more new customers to the brand.”
