The Korean car brand’s Indian wing has decided to raises prices across all car models here.
Hyundai are one of the most popular car brands in India, and this announcement of a price increase will affect many potential consumers. The increase kicks in from the 1st of January 2016, and will see a maximum rise in prices of up to Rs. 30,000.
Hyundai have cited various reasons for this increase, as Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP, Sales and Marketing, Hyundai India explains, “In these challenging market conditions, we are constrained to consider the price increase on account of factors like increase in cost of components, weak rupee etc. The proposed price increase up to Rs. 30000 will be effective from January 2016 across all models including Elite and Creta.”
