Shuffles among teams for the next season is the what most F1 enthusiasts are talking about these days

With just six races left in hand and speculations for the upcoming season already buzzing on the worldwide web, the latest from the Formula One pits is the shuffle among teams. The switch appeared most likely to the experts and his fans, but the announcement of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Louis Hamilton moving to Mercedes AMG Petronas on a three years contract put a final stamp to cognition. In a recent statement issued by Mercedes, they confirmed that Hamilton would join Nico Rosberg in their 2013 driver line-up. Hamilton has had a long association with team Mercedes, since the time he made his debut into racing in the year 2000. The team now was the team then too, with Hamilton and Rosberg being team-mates in team MBM.com, in Formula A karting.

Hamilton would be replacing seven time world champion Micheal Schumacher, whose future plans are still uncertain. Going by the grapevine, Schumacher is most likely to be team-mates with Kimi Raikonen in Team Lotus. After his comeback into Formula One in 2010, Schumacher hasn’t enjoyed much success with team Mercedes, with third place in Valencia being his only podium finish for this season. Another important announcement made by team Mercedes Petronas AMG was three-time world champion Niki Lauda joining as non-executive Chairman of the team’s board of directors.

Replacing Hamilton in McLaren Mercedes is Mexican driver Sergio Perez, who in his second year in the world’s premier racing championship, already stands ninth in the championship tally. A member of Ferrari’s Driver Academy, Perez was looked up as the most possible replacement for Felipe Massa, prior to his confirmation with McLaren.

The next F1 race is scheduled to take place at the end of this week in Japan.
