Off-road machine aimed at defence forces
Polaris, the comPany that made a name for itself by making brilliant off-road vehicles, recently launched a new 4 X 4 off-road vehicle, called the ranger rZr sW, in the indian market.This new off-road machine is aimed at the defence forces.
the design allows the forces to tackle extreme off-road terrain that would be otherwise impossible to handle. it is equipped with a high-power, 760-cc, twin-cylinder engine that is mated to an automatic 2/4WD selectable transmission.on the occasion of the launch, Pankaj Dubey, managing Director, Polaris india, said, “We are now concentrating on providing solutions to the indian defence, security and government sector.” a number of defence forces round the world use Polaris off-road vehicles and soon we might see the indian defence forces becoming a customer of Polaris vehicles.
