Pure_Vision_MustangMuscle cars are well known to be the preferred eye candy of many car enthusiasts.

The Ford GT40, dubbed as ‘The Ferrari Killer’ in its heydays and the Ford Mustang were the two cars which truly embodied the term brawn and muscle, so imagine what would happen if these two behemoths became one? This is what!

Pure Vision Designs, a California-based design studio, are responsible for building some of the most exquisite classic Ford Mustangs in the world. The studio are now working on the development of a 1970 Mustang Fastback with a Ford GT40 livery. Motorsports and Le Mans aficionados will be aware of the legendary GT40s which won multiple 24 hour Le Mans races in the 1960s and which made the Blue-Oval brand one of the most successful at these races. This special edition Mustang will be powered by a roaring John Kaase V8 engine – the beastly power plant will also be mated with a clutchless 6-speed manual transmission.

Although the project is still in its initial status this Mustang which sports the those famous dual racing white stripes of the GT40s this special edition Mustang is sure to be the dream car of many a muscle car lovers.
