Audi drive 1

Audi India teams up with Car India for a wild drive through the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, with the aim of promoting safe adventure.

Christened as “The Jewel of Vidharba”, the Tadoba National Park lies in the district of Chandrapur in the north-eastern part of Maharashtra. Well, the Tadoba National Park and the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary together form the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. The reserve gets its name from the word “Taru” name of a local deity and “Andhari” – a river that meanders through the forest giving the sanctuary its name. The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is one of the finest and largest National Park in Maharashtra and is also India’s 28th “Project Tiger” tiger reserve. Spread across 605 kms, the tiger reserve boasts of a variety of flora, which includes Teak, Bamboo, Jamun and Mahua trees, ample water resources and lush meadows with tall grass (beware the crouching tiger prevails). The reserve is about 208 kms from Nagpur, which is the main connectivity linkage spot for this place.

Powered by the new 3.0L, TDI Quattro engine, producing 245 PS and 580 Nm of torque, the all wheel drive Audi Q5 is just the vehicle Car India needed to drive off into the wild. The journey starts from Pune and ends at the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. But Car India takes the Audi Q5 via Aurangabad, which is known as “the city of gates”, for a drive upto UNESCO’s World Heritage sites – the Ajanta and Ellora caves as well as the Bibi Ka Maqbara.
