mercedes-benz_service_program_web_-_1The German luxury car manufacturer is looking to widen its impact on Indian shores, and to this effect, has launched the ‘MyMercedes’ Initiative.

This program aims to provide comprehensive solutions for repair and servicing issues across the country.

As part of the initiative, Mercedes have rolled out a fleet of 20 brand new, fresh off the blocks B-class service cars fully loaded with all the the tools and equipment required to provide immediate roadside assistance. The roadside assistance program is available 24/7 and everywhere across India, and this latest addition to the firm’s service fleet will help cover for the demands imposed by such an exhaustive program.

An option to book services online from both computers and smartphones/tablets has also been included, making it faster and easier for car owners to schedule and reserve booking slots for their cars. There is also a remote access diagnostics set up with which the crack team of expert engineers based out of Mercedes-Benz’ presence in Pune can use the latest in communications technology to assess the issues faced by cars anywhere in the country, and draw upon their combined knowledge to dispatch with instructions on dealing with the problem in a swift and decisive fashion.
