General Motors have launched the facelifted Chevrolet Captiva SUV at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The facelifted Captiva has been focused on strengthening Chevrolet’s position in the global market, specially with the ever growing importance of the SUV segment. Although GM are only initially going to launch the 2013 Captiva in the European market, they will be considering a global launch very soon. The new Captiva introduces several changes to the rear and front of the vehicle, including new LED tail lamps, remodeled bumpers and angular chrome exhaust tips. The SUV is now dressed up in an all new set of 18-inch alloys and sports a much sharper new grill mesh, the new restyled fog lamps also showcases the new aggressive stance of the 2013 Captiva.

The facelift Captiva is souped up with refreshed new interiors, also comfort features include keyless start and entry. GM are set to offer the Captiva as a seven-seater version, as Chevrolet will also be launching their updated compact SUV, the 2013 Trax in spring. Other technical specifications have not yet been revealed by the officials of GM, but we certainly do feel that Chevrolet India should add the 2013 facelift Captiva to their roster.
