Audi India have made an official announcement regarding the as yet vacant position of the company’s head here in the country. Effective the 1st of February 2017, Rahil Ansari will take over as Head, Audi India. Ansari was already part of the global Audi fold before taking on this position, having held the post of Head, Global Pricing for Audi Genuine Parts for Audi AG. His extensive portfolio in the auto industry includes experience in the diverse fields of finance, sales, network development, retail operations and aftersales.
Thierry Lespiaucq, Managing Director, Volkswagen Group Sales India spoke regarding Ansari’s appointment, he said, “We are pleased to announce the new Head for Audi in India, Rahil Ansari. He has previously served as Director of Network Development for Audi India and thus brings appreciation for this market. I am confident that his diverse global experience combined with the understanding of the Indian market will help to consolidate the brand presence.”
