MG Motor India has successfully clocked a sales of 784 units of the 1000 manufactured in October, this makes a benchmark of highest sales ever since the launch of the MG ZS EV in 2020. This slots the MG ZS EV right below Tata Nexon EV making it the second highest selling EV SUV in the Indian market.
Ever since the launch, the MG ZS EV has undergone quite the update and the 2022 model now houses a 50. kWh as opposed to the 44.5 kWh battery pack coupled with a motor that makes 173 hp of power and a claimed ARAI range of 461 km on a single full charge. The company also claims a 0-100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds.
The 2022 MG ZS EV facelift sports features like PM 2.5 air filter, Bluetooth operated digital key, panoramic sunroof, powered seats, E-brake, heated ORVMs, rain sensing wipers, powered seats, 10-inch infotainment system with AI assistant and a 7-inch instrument cluster to name a few. The ZS comes with an eight-year warranty or a 1.5 Km warranty on the battery, whichever comes first. And a five year or unlimited-kilometre overall warranty along with a five-year roadside assistance and five service sessions with zero labour charge.
MG ZS EV comes with a price tag of Rs 23.58 lakh for the base variant and goes up to Rs 26.49 lakh for the top variant. The company has also clocked its highest production of 5008 units. Additionally, the company record a sales of 4367 units in October 2022.
