It’s indeed been a long wait for Indian enthusiasts of the iconic American brand Jeep. We have seen the excitement at the first news of the brand’s plans to enter India rise to a crescendo and then eventually fade a bit. Now however, there is fresh reason for Jeep fans in India to rejoice. The company has just launched the Jeep India website and related social media platforms as part of their pre-launch engagement. Jeep is all set to unveil the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler Unlimited models at the upcoming Auto Expo 2016 to be held in NOIDA at the beginning of February.
“It gives us immense pride to launch this iconic Jeep brand in India. Today, FCA embarks on a new expedition in the Indian market and we hope this significant milestone will help us to firmly establish Jeep in India right from the start,” said Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FIAT Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India. “The new Jeep brand positioning on the website reflects an ambition to expand the marque’s global footprint while staying true to its legacy.
