Home / Home / All-new Dacia Jogger 7-seater Introduced

The new Dacia Jogger is 7-seater family car that has the length and practicality of an estate, the spaciousness of an MPV, and the styling and reassurance of an SUV.

The Dacia Jogger embodies the brand’s outdoor spirit and always-ready-for-adventure attitude. It’s based on the company’s CMF-B modular platform and is the longest model in Dacia’s range. The 4.5-metre length and 2.9-m wheelbase of the Jogger offer unrivalled interior space for a family of seven and luggage.

The Dacia Jogger brings a new level of practicality to the segment. The Jogger can be a family car and, apart from the bold wide front grille flanked by Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, also brings some off-road-ready butch elements such as the modular roof rails with a 80-kg carrying capacity, faux skid-plates and body cladding. The vertical tail-light clusters and the flared wheel-arches add a bit of excitement to the design. The Jogger has up to 213 litres of luggage room behind the third row and can be expanded to as much as 1,819 litres of cargo space with only the front row seats upright,

The Dacia Jogger will be available with two engines at launch: the brand new 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine in TCe 110 turbo-petrol and TCe 100 bi-fuel guises. Joining the range in 2023 will be Dacia’s first hybrid powertrain option, making the Jogger the most accessible 7-seat hybrid on the market.

The all-new TCe 110 is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine that delivers 110 hp with 200 Nm of torque coming in at 2,900 rpm. Its aluminium-block construction reduces overall weight, while variable valve timing and a variable-displacement oil pump help boost performance while reducing fuel consumption. The Dacia Jogger Hybrid will feature a 1.6-litre petrol engine, two electric motors, and a multi-mode automatic transmission, combined with a 1.2-kWh battery pack.

To celebrate the launch of the all-new Jogger, Dacia will release a limited “Extreme” model with more pronounced off-road styling. The Dacia Jogger is offered in five distinctive body colours: Pearl Black, Slate Grey, Moonstone Grey, Glacier White, and Terracotta Brown. Making the “Extreme” model instantly recognisable will be blacked-out roof-rails, wing-mirrors, shark-fin antenna and alloy wheels.

In the safety department, all Dacia Jogger models feature six airbags, Emergency Brake Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Hill Start Assist and Electronic Stability Control. The Dacia Jogger will be available to pre-order in the UK from November 2021, with first deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2022. We wonder if Renault will bring this model to India soon.
