Nissan Motors have revealed a facelifted variant of their highly popular Micra hatchback in Indonesia.
The Japanese car manufacturer displayed the hatch under the brand name ‘Nissan March’ in Jakarta, the nation’s capital. On first look, the changes which catch one’s eye is certainly the revamped front-end of the hatchback where a large upper grille has been introduced, with a U-shaped chrome insert that makes it look like a shrunken Pathfinder. The facelift is now even more beefier than before as it sports a new front bumper with chrome surrounding and new fog lights. The headlight also get the refresh look, and at the rear, the new Micra sports LED tail lights.
Although not much has been revealed regarding the interior of the hatch or the technology improvements as such, sources have revealed that the facelifted Micra might feature an improved engine and CVT gearbox. A new lime-green colour choice has also been added to the existing fold of available colours with the hatch. For now, the facelift is available only in the Indonesian market but we very well might see Nissan India getting this offering to the Indian market as well.
