Home / Home / BMW India reveals 7-Series facelift

AK5_2012The-New3BMW India recently unveiled the facelifted model of its 7 Series LCI luxury saloon at the Jodhpur One World Retreat.

The unveiling happened as part of a ‘raising awareness’ meet for the Indian Head Injury Foundation organised by His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh II of Jodhpur. The 2013 7 Series LCI features a redesigned front grille, remoulded front bumper with a modified air intake, new xenon headlamps with LED corona rings and integrated 8-LED indicators, remodelled rear bumper with chrome and dark & light red inserts in the tail lamps. The xDrive badge now finds pride of place at the rear of the car. On the inside, there is the iDrive system, leather-trim seats, 9.2-inch LCD screens for each rear passenger.

Speaking at the occasion, Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India, expressed his pride at the association with the Jodhpur One World Retreat and helping to raise awareness for the Indian Head Injury Foundation. He felt that the new car would continue to serve as “the most modern premium luxury sedan of our times”.

BMW India did not reveal engine specifications and pricing for the new car, which is expected to be in showrooms soon. Check out our first drive report of the BMW 7 Series LCI here.
