The increasing popularity and sales of McLarens in Asia led to the development of McLaren’s first ever regional specific car, the 625C, where “C” stands for Club. Based on the McLaren 650S, the 625C claims to be more refined and boasts of better driving dynamics.
The McLaren 625 C is powered by the same 3.8-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine, which , in Club avatar puts out 625 PS and 610 Nm of torque; enough to propel the 625C to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and attain a top speed of 333 km/h.
The McLaren 625C focuses on day-to-day usability, thus incorporating various changes made to the ProActive Chassis Control, suspension and dampers to positively impact daily-driving dynamics and ride quality, making the 625C a no-compromise sports car with optimized performance, refinement and quality.
The McLaren 625C will be offered in both ‘Coupé’ and ‘Spider’ trims designed solely for the Asian market. The 625C will be initially launched in Hong Kong first and the cars will be available to customers immediately. We hope McLaren realise that India is also in South-east Asia!
