Don’t we all know how North Indians cherish their muscular SUVs, after all the region is the strongest when it comes to SUV and MUV sales.
To give the brawny-car lovers an opportunity to kick some dirt around and get a first hand experience of some off-roading action, Tata Motors recently launched the Full Throttle Trails, a series of half-day off-roading events for Tata Motors SUV owners.
The event hit Ludhiana on June 17 where Tata SUV owners of the northern city got to experience the thrill of manoeuvring through some of the most challenging surfaces like slush, hills and sand beds. Participants are expected to complete the trail within a maximum stipulated time to qualify as finishers. Cougar Motorsports, a growing force in the motorsports segment, was in charge of planning and execution of event.
The company has planned about 21 trails spread over the next few months. Recently the maiden Chandigarh trail witnessed an good response, with participation of over 35 Tata Motors SUVs. Another adventurous activity called Tata Motors Full Throttle Experience, an off-roading expedition which will span over a number of days, will witness the first expedition being flagged off from New Delhi on June 22, 2012.
