ON BEHALF OF ASTON MARTIN,
the company’s Chief Executive Dr Ulrich Bez recently presented a cheque for £1,00,000 to Toyota Motor Corporation President Akio Toyoda.
The money will be channelled towards charities providing aid to the victims of the recent earthquakes and tsunami in Japan.
At the annual Aston Martin Bonhams auction held last month, Dr Bez offered his company Rapide for auction in a bid to raise funds. The Rapide was bought by Aston Martin enthusiast David Linley, a world renowned furniture designer, as he recognised the importance of this appeal.
