A new Miata? Surely almost everyone, secretly or not, rejoices at the sight of the Miata. The simple curves, powerful accents and flowing lines always managed to get their unfair share of attention. Mazda got their formula so correct it almost seemed like magic. A little four-cylinder engine, a lightweight body in drop-top with an affordable price-tag? What’s not to like. The new MX-5 takes the game even further and, thanks to Mazda’s mastery of what drivers really want from the essential car, ave walked away with the prestigious World Car of the Year award. Kudos.
