The new Highline Plus trim level of the Vento sits above the Highline model as the new top-trim. It is available on both, the 1.6 MPI petrol as well as the 1.5 TDI diesel, but only with the manual transmission versions. The changes include primarily a new satellite navigation system with a 7” touchscreen interface. The infotainment system also packs Bluetooth connectivity, and maps which also show VW dealer points. The other changes include a blacked-out roof, carbon-fibre finish on the centre console and the wing mirrors, cruise control, window blinds as well as ‘Vento’ scuff plates and floor mats. The Highline Plus is priced at Rs 9.7 lakh for the petrol and Rs 10.98 lakh for the diesel, both ex-showroom Delhi. The Vento Highline Plus is available with an attractive exchange and loyalty bonus, each being Rs 20,000, for new and existing customers of the brand.
Volkswagen India also launched the limited edition Polo Exquisite, with similar features as the Vento. The Exquisite is available with the 1.2 MPI petrol at Rs 6.74 lakh, as well as the 1.5 TDI diesel engine for Rs 7.66 lakh, both ex-showroom, Delhi. The exchange and loyalty bonus for the Polo Exquisite are Rs 10,000 each.
