A civilian version of an army personnel carrying all-terrain vehicle, the Hummer H1 Alpha was the ultimate SUV of its time, yes, but, when it comes to the most challenging terrain, it will still give all modern SUVs a run for their money. With a 6.6-litre Duramax V8 making 300 PS and 705 Nm, it featured off-road tech far ahead of its time before the brand went defunct in 2009.
