Martins Sesks and Renars Francis of Team MRF Tyres have emerged victorious in the ORLEN Rally Poland, the third round of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC), showcasing their dominance in an impressive display.
The Latvian duo exhibited an unbeatable performance, beginning the day with an 8.2-second lead and demonstrating unrivaled control and speed in their Skoda Fabia RS Rally2. Sesks and Francis maintained an average speed of 115 km/h on the fast and narrow roads, securing their first win of the season and second of their careers.
After the rally, Martins Sesks expressed his delight, stating, “The Team MRF Tyres car was unbelievable this weekend. The MRF Tyres were just fantastic through the rally and gave me the confidence to push through! I am thrilled to take my second win in the FIA ERC and I would like to thank the team and everyone back in India for making this happen. Rally Poland was something special and I am looking forward to getting back to Latvia for the next round.”
Team MRF Tyres displayed their collective strength, with a total of six MRF Tyres cars earning points in the rally. Efren Llarena, Denis Radstrom, Pontus Tidemand, and Simone Campedelli all contributed to the team’s overall success.
Following their triumph in Rally Poland, Team MRF Tyres maintains their lead in the Team Championship standings, while Sesks climbs to second place in the Driver’s Championship.
The upcoming round of the FIA ERC is Rally Liepaja in Latvia, where both Team MRF Tyres and Martins Sesks dominated in 2022.
