After introducing Repsol branded motorcycle engine oils in April this year, GP Petroleums have now launched Repsol engine oil for passenger cars in India. Repsol are a Spanish oil major who are extremely active in motor sport and have been the title sponsor for Honda’s factory MotoGP team for years now. They are also also regular participants in Dakar – one of the most gruesome motor sport events globally.
UAE-based Gulf Petrochem has now acquired the license to manufacture and market Repsol brand of lubricants for cars in our country. Among the car lubricants introduced is the fully synthetic Repsol Elite NEO XTI 5W-40 and premium car engine oil Repsol Elite NEO 5W-30.
Although Repsol lubricants are developed at the company’s R&D centre in Spain, these premium engine oils are being produced by GP Petroleums Ltd in their manufacturing plants in India, and adhere to the Spanish brand’s international quality standards.
