Koleos to be launched soon
AFTER THE SUCCESS OF THE FLUENCE, FRENCH car manufacturers Renault are getting ready for their second launch in India – the Koleos.
This SUV will be the second of the fi ve cars that the French marque promised to launch within 15 months of the introduction of the Fluence in this country.
Meant for an adventure-lover, the Koleos offers good off-road abilities and comes loaded with a four-wheel drive system and electronic aids such as hill descent control. In the international market the Koleos comes with a 2.5-litre petrol engine as well as a 2.0-litre diesel one and the speculation is that the company will bring both of these to India. While the petrol engine boasts of 173 PS of peak power, the diesel one offers 150 PS. The Koleos will be launched with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed auto box. Expect this Renault SUV to be priced between Rs 18 and 20 lakh.
